I know what it's like when awakening turns your life inside out.

Not from theory. From lying on my couch after a trip to the supermarket, completely drained, while my partner was pregnant with our first child.

Grounded. Present. Real.

My awakening arrived as blissful clarity.
But it left me overwhelmed and without tools.

I was 7 years into my own inner work: meditation, shadow work, somatic practices. I'd had real shifts. Real recognition. But somewhere along the way, the process turned inward in a way that stopped me from functioning.

"I was so obsessed with tracking my own process, every sensation, every pattern, every subtle shift, that I had almost nothing left for the world around me.

My wife was pregnant. I was exhausted. I wasn't exercising. I was putting on weight. I could barely leave the house. And I was spending hours watching spiritual content trying to figure out what was going on."

The irony was clear even then: I understood awakening deeply. I could explain nonduality, trace the roots of suffering, recognize conditioning in real time. But none of that understanding was helping me actually live.

What changed wasn't more insight. It was stopping the fixing. Learning to let the process move through me instead of chasing it. Grounding. Surrender. Getting back into my body, my relationships, my responsibilities and letting the deeper unfolding happen on its own timeline.

That shift took time. And it took someone who understood what was actually happening, not just spiritually, but in a nervous system, in a relationship, in a life with real pressures and real people depending on me.

That's the guide I wish I'd had. That's what I've become for others.

What I Actually Do

Most people I work with have already had real awakenings. They've seen through the ego, experienced kundalini activation, touched something vast and true.

Some of them are overwhelmed by it. Their nervous system is dysregulated. Their relationships are strained. Their energy is unpredictable. They have jobs, partners, children, a life that doesn't pause for spiritual integration. They need to stabilize and get back to functioning.

Others are more stable but stuck. The initial shift happened, but the deepening has stalled. Old conditioning keeps resurfacing. They sense there's further to go but can't get there alone. They want direct guidance toward what's next, whether that's nonduality, no-self, or simply living from what they've already seen.

Most people I work with have some of both. What I don't do is leave you with pointers and no support. I'm not going to tell you that nothing is real, that there's no one here, that suffering is an illusion, and leave it at that. The relative life is real. Your nervous system is real. Your relationships are real. All of that needs to work, and it can, even while the deeper process continues.

My work brings together nondual understanding with practical grounding, somatic awareness, direct work with conditioning, and honest guidance on what your system actually needs right now.

Sessions aren't just talking about your process. We go directly into what's alive: a sensation, a pattern, a belief that keeps resurfacing, and work with it until something actually shifts.

You might be right for this work if...

  • You've had an awakening or kundalini experience and are struggling to stabilize

  • You're highly functional in some areas but something fundamental still feels unresolved

  • You've had the initial shift but something deeper hasn't fully opened yet

  • You're done with surface-level spiritual content and want direct, honest work

  • You want to function at work, in relationships, as a parent, not just understand the truth but live from it

  • You're willing to go into what's uncomfortable rather than around it

  • You want someone who has walked this path in a real life, not just on a retreat

How I work

Over the past 15 years I've worked with meditation, shadow work, somatic practices, nondual inquiry, and direct exploration of what’s actually here.

I've also built and run a business, raised children, and navigated a long-term relationship, all while integrating a process that doesn't always wait for a convenient moment.

That combination. depth and practicality, the absolute and the relative, is what defines how I work.

I’m based in the Netherlands, working with clients in the US, UK, Canada, Europe and beyond. Sessions are available in English and Dutch via Google Meets and are always confidential.

“Kees is the best coach and guide I have worked with. He is deeply intuitive and reassuring, yet he doesn't take himself too seriously. His sessions have changed my life, and I would recommend him to anyone.”
